At an early age in the late 50's Arvil built several stock cars to run at the local tracks in and around Tampa, Florida.

Wanting to go faster, he found that it was cheaper on two wheels. While working at "Hap's Cycle Shop" in Sarasota, Florida he built a fast street bike with the help of Hap. That bike was fine for a while, but then it was time to go faster! So then Arvil made a Cut down drag bike to run at the local drag strips.

This is the Harley Davidson drag bike that won so many trophies.
